1970-71 starter
I been reading other threads and thinking. I got a 1108446 starter that's supposedly for a 400 or 455. Is firebird supplement it states this was used in all formulas. Did the formula 400 4 speed with wt block have this and a formula 455 d port? I also read that the internals are same as a 436 and only difference was the casing on the solenoid. Is this true .? Some of you might not understand why I ask so much about the starter but after I turn 16 8 months later my original starter died I got a lifetime warranty starter from auto parts store and I was going underneath my car every three or four months the remanufactured starters sucked. So I'm learning about parts once I got all my ducks in a row I think my drivetrain restoration will go smoothly
