Joe, I noticed the same thing. All the Summit bracket races are listed but no test and tune events. I know that things pretty much shut down until after Gatornationals but there have always been test and tune events beginning late March or early April. Will try to call the track tomorrow.

Roger that! I have gotten the impression more than once that they really don't care about actually running a race program. Gatornationals is the whole deal and beyond that good luck. They have called off races because they said they couldn't get the track dry even when the rain was 48 hours ago. Looking for any excuse to not run a race. Back in the 'old days' when the track was privately owned and they were in the business of making a living at it, the track personal would bust their butts to put on a race no matter what they had to do. I probably shouldn't complain since a lot of racers have to travel some distance to race, but I just wish the people running the show at least looked halfway interested in what they were doing.

I agree ,I didn't know it changed owners,Maybe they have other intentions in the future to sell out to china, anyways Valdosta has a test and tune every month sometimes 2 events. That would be a little ride for you though.

Yea, not sure the year but NHRA bought the facility from the Raulersons who were the original owners and really worked hard to run a good program geared towards the average racer. After NHRA took over, things still went along pretty well as long as the staff remained intack but when they began to leave it went down hill.
