By the rush of comments,, I guess not many people have experienced oversteer on an early Tempest.

I have never driven a Corvair but the above video could have been shot with a '62 Tempest with almost the same results!
In any case, the opening sequence was a brilliant way to begin a video on the subject matter.

We had a 62 Corvair Spyder coupe, 63 Spyder convertible and a 64 Spyder convertible and never felt unsafe ever. Like most things you need to have enough sense to treat things as they are. They were little economy cars with some mild horsepower not a Corvette.

Thanks for posting the video link. In the mid ‘90’s I had a ‘61 Corvair with a worn suspension and never cornered aggressively as it felt like it would do just what it shows in the opening of the video.
