Default 1969 or 70 GTO Wood Wheel Pic installed.

I’m looking for a pic of a wood wheel installed on a 69 or 70 GTO. I need a close up of the back side of the wheel where the spokes meet the trim collar. Is there a gap or do the touch?

Thanks?

well... they definately are not installed ... but ..
since you had 40 lookers so far ..... I walked out to the garage and pulled my originals, off the wall

yup
they are gappers in both 68 and 69 woodies...

"everything" but the horn contact , changes between 68 n 69
on the wood sport steeringwheels ....
so the collar goes from cast in 68 to plastic in 69 n up ... not that it matters to your application on your wheel
but that GM was consistant on the gap ..

I hope these pics are what you were asking for ...

Thank you folks!! Also thank you for the info regarding the collar’s material being plastic originally in 69 and the 68 being metal. For some reason I was thinking the 69 also was metal and all aftermarket were plastic.
