Looking to ID these drums.
Any ideas, friend of mine has had them for years...

Aren't they 15" heavy duty drums used on Police or Ambulance type vehicles? So you have to use 15" wheels with them.

Just a thought.

This is a picture of a Pontiac heavy duty drum from a discussion several years ago, compared to the picture above. The fins on the one in the older picture appear to be larger, but I'm not an expert - could they have been ground off?

Somebody machined those fins shorter to fit in a 14" wheel.

I'd be willing to bet the fins have been trimmed off. Got any pics of the fins themselves?
