Welcome aboard Bryan from the East Coast. If they don't how, why or where to find it on here, you don't need it. And life as you knew it will never be the same again. LOL Enjoy!

How many of you finally got rid of your outlaws today from thanksgiving?
4 stinking days with 13 people upstairs and down.
Should'a stuck some in the seller too...................

Not one knew (or cared) about muscle cars or hotrods.
I even took their 25 year old around the block in our RA 111 t/a 5-speed, posi
exhaust cutouts, 3.73's cammed, ported #12"s 11;1..... oh, you know the rest.

He thought the 5 point harness was useless and wouldn't buckle in.

That's it...........get out.........................
I strapped in his sister and stepped on it.

The carburetor for sale ad was deleted - you need to include a location and an actual price for all ads on this board, per the rules at the top of each for sale section.

Default Yeah........back from the 7 day vacation! I promise to be good. (ask my wife).

Much going on last week? Just when It doesn't rain in California anymore,
Now it's raining.
Boy does the barn leak.....................
If I position the t/a and the stingray just right, It's all good.
Except the bench for the model plane and it's flight box.
Better head to Loews for that roof leak tube
.
One of the few stores that doesn't enforce wearing a mask.
I took that medical waver provided by our gov dude.
Skin cancer on my nose is doing just fine as long as I don't mess with it.
People don't even know the waver is available, since .gov doesn't say it out loud.

Everybody see that 70 t/a carb on e-bay that ended at $2000?
Crazy ...............
Nows a good time to buy stuff there if you have the cash.
I always save some during the holidays for yard sales and such.
Others need cash so there are killer deals.

I hear the timer going off. Can't remember what I set it for now.
Be right back.............................

Stay tuned....

Smoke detectors are a timer of sorts. They let you
know when it's time for some fast food instead.

Also just North of you.

Its still there... Not sure if they're open for business. I assume they are as most of Oakdale has been pretty lax regarding this covid crap.

Aha....I spy another R/C model airplane dude?
Used to have that addiction. I still keep one or two in a glass case in my basement so I can break it in an emergency and do a little building/flying.

Ohhhhh........be still my heart...............

I love biplanes.
That looks like a big ol one too.

I have that wacko 50'' from dynam.
Used to be my favorite however, I bought a giant scale e-flite cessna 150
last year and that's my current favorite in my hangar.

(bigger is better).............

All my planes I FPV with.
I use a tripod/receiver/monitor rather than the goggles.
(I like to check out the plane in the air).

Thats the way to learn since ripping off the goggles and tryng to find the plane just ain't going to happen.

It's video/transmitter/pan servo is set up like the quad copters, but separate
I'd fly today but the wind is 17 mph.

Tomorrow it's 2 mph..........................

Hears a really old vid at our local high school to look up on YouTube.

Your sitting in the pilots set flying the plane.

Atwater high school
2nd flight.

I think there's 5 videos . Just follow ''ramair_bryan'' as the author .

Be right back, I found out what the timer was beeping about.
(have to meet the fire truck at the gate)..........................

Checked out the video....Cool! Love them WACOs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8BTlwb_fzE
My favorites have always been scale subjects. Especially 1930s bipes and racers followed by the WWII fighters... The one pictured above is a quarter scale version of a small homebuilt so it's not THAT big. 60" wingspan and a 1.20 4 stroke engine.

The hobby has kind of left me behind with the new technology. New radios, everything is electric, LiPos, etc. I'd have to learn all over again. I have a couple of electrics that I bought in 2012 as motivation...they have been sitting on the workbench now for 8 years.
I really miss building probably more than flying though to tell the truth...and building too is almost a thing of the past.

I hear ya on the radios.
It's the radios that make us look good..............

Everything is computer driven now.
And to make video's something others would want to see
requires a gyro on the plane.

I think I have only 1 glow engine left since I went all elec.
And I use that mrrcsound system that make them sound like the real deal radial
engine.

(That cost as much as the plane)............................................

I been using spektrum 2.4 stuff. What you been using? 72mhz? what brand.

Have any cool stuff you want to get rid of?

(no mention of wife/wifes)..................................
