Default 63 Lemans 4cyl Timing Cover

Has anyone used the aftermarket timing cover from Ames on the 4 cylinder engine?:

4 or 5 years ago on this forum there was a thread on the 62 & 63 Tempest water pumps and in that thread there were photos of the back sides of pumps side-by-side and there was a specific 4 cyl water pump (for both '62-63 4 bolt and '63 8 bolt timing covers).

Something about the fins on the back of the impeller were different between '63-326 V8 cars and the 4 cyl. Either shorter fins and/or fewer of them.

It took me a while to find this one. Purchased it while I was working on my 62. Check the casting numbers, I think that it will fit your 63. PM me if you want the part. Also are you a member of the Little Indians car club If not, you should join.

V8 pump on a 4cyl isn't a problem. 4 on an 8 will cause heating issues.

Hope I can find a water pump now. Nobody seems to have any.
