Default need advice on my a/c , heater control

i am missing the metal part the goes on the the vac port . can i cut the rubber one in the photo and just attach to each one

or does anyone have one for sale

the rubber part you see in this photo is from a 79-80 t/a . what i am looking for one that will work on my 72 firebird one , anyone have a photo of one . my last resort would be to cut each one of these and install theme on each port

It'd be rough but if you had a template for the holes, you can use a round rubber block and drill holes in it. Something like a hose clamp around it with angle brackets for retainer tabs. It just needs to be snug and mostly seal. A thick sheet of rubber would be similar, enough to stick vacuum lines into and be tight, dab of silicone maybe to hold and seal. Easy to pull off in future when you find part.

This rubber connector came as part of the vacuum harness for AC. The hoses were glued into the connector. You should just buy a uncut vacuum harness for 71-75

I cut up the rubber on in my photo and used the round pieces and connected to the vac ports

Still like to buy one if if comes up for sale
