Mocking up a puke can this weekend after getting header and new wiring finished up. I figure I can route breathers to it until I gt a pump on it.

Had to dodge calf deep holes walking around the shop where the freaking feral hogs have started rooting! My Ar15 has been coming out there with me lately. They used to just hang back in the woods now they have decided the dirt around the shop is good stuff.

I would mount that away from the engine just in case you get oil spewing out the breather.

Sounds like it's time to go into "offensive mode" with the hogs...

Thought I already posted this.
Dave not enough room to mount elsewhere. With no fenderwells little places. Radiator overflow passenger core support, driver's side no flat spots tall enough. Actually thought about putting the fenderwells back in if I need to. Was planning on making a sheet metal shield to attach to the breather on that side.

Yes starting to look a suppressors and a night vision scope for the hogs! But then you have to get rid of all the bodies!

I run an Aerospace in a non-Pontiac application. Mounted to the front plate, pulls from same side valve cover, and no dipstick. 12 at the stripe. And that time I forgot to drain the tank and it came out the breather, it got on the drivers side tires, and the front rotor/caliper. A mess on the car to clean up, and I will neither confirm nor deny that cleanup of my person was necessary.

I've seen a lot mounted on the motor plate.

Nice thing about mount it to motor plate is you can get everything setup on the engine stand the drop it right in the car, or vice versa.

No fender wells here either. I made a bracket and mounted them off the fender lip on the passenger side.

Scott what kind of double container is that? And it has the shield on one side of the breather.

I made the 2 separate cans. 1st one is a separator so no oil gets to the "vacuum" pump. ( I run a Ford Smog pump and it cannot tolerate oil ) then after the pump is the vent can. The Moroso breather does have a shield around it.

Darby a Star pump? Looks like a motor plate mount for the pump.

Camaro does not have the big fender support bracket Firebirds do, but maybe like that or Scott mount the tank in the fender.

here is my experience -- Star pump will NOT tolerate oil in it -- the vanes tend to stick, Moroso lives with some oil much better -- Bill is the owner of GZ easy to talk to and he will take care of ya --
