Default 1971 455 HO FORMULA

In 1983 I sold a silver 71 455HO formula to a guy in Boston Massachusetts the car was a four-speed , black standard interior ,console and a cassette deck ,373 posi all original drivetrain .just wondering if the car survived or does anybody know any history of it.

I'm sure you checked with Alex, I don't remember seeing it anywhere when I moved there in 85.

Matt - Nice! You don't happen to have the PHS for it, do you? It would be the first factory 3.73 optioned '71 I've seen.

No, I didn’t. back then even though the PHS were free , I only ordered a phs when I questioned the car and this car was definitely original.

Wouldn't the PHS just say 'PERFORMANCE AXLE' and a price? Matt you still have VIN, yes?

A good friend of mine had similar car to the silver car in the pic in Abilene Texas in the 80's. All original HO automatic, A/C, low miles. Is that the same car?
