Strange, but I haven't received my magazine yet. Is there a pic of the car that you mentioned?? Color?? A 4d ht?? Don't mean to impose on you. Thanks, Carmine.

It's a Star Chief 4dr hardtop w supposedly 19k miles. PS,PB,347 4brl. Painted 10-12 years ago and never left outside. Body color is a light green (crocus green or something similar). Spear is darker limefire or whatever green. That help? Looks nice but the pic is small obviously..

Helps a whole lot. Thank you very much for taking the time. Hoping my magazine arrives in the next few days. If not by next week, think I give him a call. That mileage has me scratching my head, Carmine.

None of my business, but why wait a week? Might be just what you are looking for. Could sell before you call in a week. You need better pics than what's in Smoke Signals anyway.

If you're a POCI member, can't you view the current issue of Smoke Signals on their website?

First 57 Pontiac I ever saw was in '57. It was a starchief 4 door hardtop in that light metallic green color and it was sitting in front of our house in direct sunlight. It was GLOWING! I rode my bike around that car about 10 times, to see the paint from different angles. Never forgot that day..

A farmer that went to our church had a 57 2dr SC that was the reverse color scheme...dark body limefire (?) and lighter spear & top. I really loved the look of that car and was bummed out when I heard he traded it in....till I saw what he traded for. New all white 62 GP w 8 lugs! Another beauty.

Tried calling again. Still no answer or return call. Not a big deal. Might be a good reason for not calling back. I find this quite often. Life goes on for both of us, Carmine.

Pontiac's have always been my favorite car although my small collection might indicate otherwise. I like that 348-409 site alot because I have 2 cars with the "W" engine. Like this site, the members there are very experienced, skillful and always willing to help and share, Carmine.

I just received my April Smoke Signals magazine. I see the 4d ht mentioned in these threads. Kind of a different color I don't think I've seen before. I wonder about the 19k miles. Hmm.....................Maybe I'll try calling again, Carmine.

There's a Star Chief four door hardtop on the Minneapolis Craigslist: https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/a...880514178.html Not cheap, but it looks like a nice one.
