Default Turn Signal Switch

I have been chasing a problem for a while now on my 66 and think I narrowed it down.
Bought a "ebay" turn signal switch listed for the 66 and have not had brake lights or turn signals since I put the car back together. I believe after the power goes through the brake light switch it goes to the turn signal switch.

So my big question is where to buy the correct turn signal switch?
Is the one M&H sells correct?

Hi Mike,

Just a suggestion. There are a couple NOS turn signal switches in the GM box on eBay.

A little expensive, but they are the real deal.

I have a spare switch just in case one of my cars needs one.

Chris.

Thanks, do you the best way to tell an original? Are they all blue and white? The one I bought was supposed to be a GM part.
Issue is I have front turn signals and have all running lights, just no brake lights and rear signals. Fuses are good and brake light switch is good.

Try manually grounding the rear lights. Just a test to rule out the switch. Changing stuff in the column is a pain.

Lights have a separate copper ground to the chassis.
Ordered a Original Delco/GM switch today. Have the column and dash out so I might as well replace it.
