Default '70 TA Makes Car & Driver's "10 Best" List..

Latest issue of Car & Driver is their 10 Best issue. And in the back, they did a little "retro" 10 Best list of what they believe they would have selected had they done a 10 Best fifty years ago in 1970 (it apparently didn't start til '83...).

The TA was one of the cars on the list...
If you missed out back then, I hear Restore-A-Musclecar still has a few to sell

Since I own a 1970 Blazer, I agree with that pick, along with the others.

I don't think many survived. They all turned to dust years ago, except possibly in the desert regions.

Those are very hard to find. There are some great cars on that list. Glad to see the Alfa on there. I have a Giulia and its one of my favorite cars to drive.

Some people might think what I'm about to post is going out on a limb, but here I go.

Three of the cars on that top 10 list came from two Pontiac guys. Bunky Knudsen with the Boss 302 and two from John DeLorean with the Chevelle LS-6 and the T/A.

Just think what 1970 would have been like for Pontiac if Delorean was still the Division Manager. I think the RAV would have been a production engine and the LS-1 RA Super Duty would have been in the TA.

Just Dreaming.........
