Default Mini Starter

I've been out of the loop for several years in regards to what some of the latest and greatest "bread and butter" parts are that are out there.

Looking to replace the original starter in my Can Am with an aftermarket mini. Tired of the slow crank after hot soaks on this 67K mile original low-compression W72 400. Who makes the best one out there for our Pontiacs?

I've got a RobbMC on mine that works just fine But I also have a Summit Powermaster Mini on Carole's car that originally was on mine and is probably 15+yrs old and still works flawlessly. It's had a ton of usage and hot starts.

McLeod in the 78 TA for years, had to manually drill and tap to reclock, had to replace soleniod once in 20 years.
IA Camaro RobbMc the dropped pan rail on the IA hit the motor on the McLeod, RobbMc fits great and easy to reclock anywhere you want it.

I believe RobbMC's is the only mini that uses planetary gearing, so the drive gear remains concentric with the motor shaft (just like any non-geared starter). Correct me if I'm remembering wrong?
