66 GTO the frame was ground down and cleaned it was then primed and sprayed with black chasis paint.Then it was clear coated 3 time all though this is not 100 percent factory correct but i feel living up here in Canada some of our road are not the best this will give my frame some extra protection and I am happy with the look.

Goatseeker after a couple of conversation with a few of our pontiac racing brothers(Old Man Taylor,Hot Rod) my combo on a good day at sea level should push my GTO into the Mid 11s.Were I race in Alberta 3200 ft,with air most days @ 5000 ft I will be happy with high 11s the first couple of times at the track it will probobly be low 12s.Right now my engine is only about 75 percent of its full potential(HYD Cam Shaft,more porting on the heads ect) My car is a driver not a full race car,I know for sure i wont be embrassed on the street by a 5 ltr mustang or a Ricer.When some one ask me how much HP is my Car i will have no problem telling thems its over 500 hp.I would like to put it on a rear wheel dyno but i am not aware of one in edmonton wich is 3 1/2 hours away.

Shawn,
You are lookin' good! Making some serious progress. I see nothing except lack of traction to keep you from mid 11's @sealevel with that motor. You mention that it's a "driver", can you tell me about the short block? What connecting rods did you use? 4 bolt or 2 bolt mains? How fast do you plan to spin it (i.e. 6000rpm or more)? Pistons,Harland Sharp 1.65 Roller Rockers,Edelbrock heads that flow 320 cfm@ 28 inches of Water,Edelbrock RPM Intake, Holly 870 street avenger,My Cam is a custom grind from comp cams,If you want any more info just email me.
