Default 1975 Trans Am values

Just wondering....I been going back and forth with a seller about his 75 TA. Its a 400 4 spd car. Numbers matching etc...Not original carb and some other things as well. Nothing major. Need a complete interior, rust repair lower pass quarter (says only rust on the car) Paint job emblems etc...(see pics below) Now the question is he hit me with a $8950 price for the car as is.I'm I missing something about 75's value skyrocketing or is he high on the Colorado air..Just wondering....

I look at craigslist fairly often in Denver and it's crazy what people ask for project cars. They must not need to sell them.

They must watch WAY to much B-J out there if he thinks thats a good price. The 5K seemed a bit high for that car.

75 values are up as with Any 2ND gen Trans AM in good condition as they command good money.
You won't find a Mint...perfect 2nd Gen Trans AM for 10G that doesn't need anything
And if you do...Grab it.

This 75 , just looking at it is not worth $ 8950.00. The price you gave him is about the price he will get or it will sit outside in the weather to rot away so it won't be worth anything & then he'll want 10K fro it because it's 10 years older. But no one in their right mind will pay that for that amount. As I said earlier in this post he's watching to much B-J & seeing all those other made up shows where they give 10K for a car & sell it for $ 35K but you don't see the parts add up to over the $ 35K but it still get sold because the TV people are paying them to do the build & show everyone you can take a turd & sell it for good money. I could do the same thing on any car if I was making an extra 50K a month for it being on TV. I wouldn't mind losing 10K on a car if I had a TV salary of 100K a year

Anything is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Point is, the values on all Pontiacs is up lately. Good for sellers, bad for buyers.

Default Another 75 $10,000

https://wichita.craigslist.org/cto/5474107770.html

Asking $10,000 just because it sat in the storage for 16 years.

Well it does have a BIG BLOCK! That makes up for the lack of quality pictures in the ad.
