Default 1965 2+2

Well I've decided to sell my 2+2. I'm in the middle of a build on a '67 GP and have already spent TWICE my total budget, got to sell the 2+2 to get finished on the GP.
Pics are on here and the 2+2 site under the same name I use here, it's a great car with lots of options including 4 speed, numbers match and I added the correct tri-power carbs etc. including the correct air cleaner a couple of years ago.Lots of new parts, tires, etc. Price is $23,500.00. Call if interested at 256-283-4081 or email for more pics and info at alltide@cableone.net.

I do so feel your pain. It is amazing what it costs to do these big cars.

Ditto that! I have nicknamed my 62 the "Money Pit". This thing is killin me, but it can't compare to letting that awesome 65 go. Good luck with your sale!

I really did have 2nd thoughs about selling it, not easy to let it go but it's going to a good home so that make me feel better. I did love that car though.

Jeff I think the house is the next thing to go! Not sure that would be enough at this point.

I don't know, I dropped $1,400 the week before the auction to have the last few pieces rechromed. But I have to admit it was nice when they introduced it as one of the auctions must have cars and then seeing the bidding go to the reserve so quickly.

People do seem to appreciate it when you go all in on these cars, I was pretty much busy the whole time at the auction talking with people about the car.

That was a beautiful car, sorry it had to go!

Hard to tell from the picture, but did your Cat have the reef turquoise paint on it?

They called it teal turquoise in '65 and yes that's what it is with a cameo ivory top. Kinda sad to see it go too but I have to finish the GP and have a place to park it.
