Default 70 Judge engine/rear end code

This is the number from my engine. Is WT right for a 4 speed judge?

Stamping from rear diff, is XH correct for a 3:55 posi?

WT is not a Judge engine code.

The XH is a 3.55 posi ratio rearend.

Is this out of your car?

There should be a partial VIN down by the timing cover (passenger side)
Also the date code back by the distributor.

The partial VIN would match the car it came from.

Should be a WS on a RA III, WW on a RA IV or WA on a 455.

083 is the Julian date code for the axle assembly.
XH = 3.55 Safe-T-Track Rear Axle
9799202 = 1970 rear axle casting #
19 = Julian Date code on pumpkin.

WT is the base code GTO 350 Horse -Manual- code.
And was also used in 1970 Manual Firebird 400.
ima guess its a 70 engine by EUN, and probably later date coded.

Have you heard this engine run ?
Kind of wondering about those cork head gaskets

If i'm reading the VIN right ( 201111478 )

That would be from a Canadian Built 70 GTO.
They didn't build Birds or TA's there.
Is your Judge a Canadian Built car - just by coincidence / curiousity ?

i guessed the date would have been much later than Oct 69
just don't follow EUN's close enough

This was a Canada built Judge sold in RI.

The WT distributor number would be 1111176, for the RA III it would be 1112010 (for manual tranny).

Can't really make out what yours shows in pic.

I'd say it's all there but the engine.
Cool that they had a Canada stamped engine to put in it.
(and possibly close to date matching?)
