Default 1969 Catalina

I am selling this for a friend, possibly the last person who has never used a computer!

1969 4door Catalina. Good running original 400 engine and TH400 trans. Car is rough, has minor rust in all the typical places and the back window. Good floors, bad trunk. Drivable, but brakes stick. AC car, compressor will not kick in. 4 good tires and all the lights work. No battery in the car but it will start and drive. Mostly a good parts car or beater. Looking for $900 obo. Can help with delivery.
Car was sold twice on ebay for more than this, but both guys are deadbeats that never paid.
thanks

Has the motor ever been gone thru? Any idea about oil pressure or vacuum readings? Any idea about the transmission? I'm thinking this would be a great donor to get our '63 Catalina back to a Poncho drivetrain. The only other issue is getting it here.

My buddy has had this car since 2001and until a couple years ago still drove it. As far as we know the motor has never been out of the car. It still runs well. Trans works good. Oil pressure and vacuum I couldn't say, it has edit lights. If your still interested, I can pull a vac test and maybe check the op. Just not this weekend, temps here are a little chilly right now.

I understand. Getting ready to get nasty here too. I'll check on the logistics of getting it down here and where I could keep it and who I could help me with the work.

Now that the snow is gone..Engine holds 15 in vac and 160 psi compression and runs smoothly.
Can bring to Carlisle next week if pre paid.

I live a half-mile north of bwi airport.

Does the car have an open title?

(Signed by the dmv-titled owner, and there are no “new owners” listed on the title. If there are hand-written “new owners,” it’s a closed title.)

Is it a 2bbl engine?

Does the car have all its smalls, nothing missing from the car?

Yes the car has everything it came with, it has not been savaged for parts.
It is a 2bl carb motor. Clear Maryland title signed by the current owner.

I realize it doesn't help sell your car, but I wish this was close to me...I have a young friend whom I am life-mentoring (he's had a rough start / bad decisions) that wants an old car, and this would be perfect for him.
