Anybody know who make this part?
I am assuming this is put in the upper radiator hose to control water flow on engines no using a thermostat. I took the picture at a car show and the owner was not around to ask where he got it.
Anyone know who might make it? Thank you in advance, Bob

It might just be a union since running real braided hose to the water outlet is a pain !

Is that a t-stat housing or a filter?

Specifically, it looks like a Meziere part: https://www.meziere.com/Products/Coo...1-50-Hose.aspx That car has an electric water pump, which I assume was also made by Meziere.
