Default reply about rings:

68 addict. If you ask her for the ring back she is obligated by a Supreme court ruling to return it to you. The ring is part of a contract and if that contract is not fulfilled she has to give it back to you. Just my .02 cents because It happened to me and she ended up buying her ring from me.

If she's controlling and demanding AFTER the marriage then she was BEFORE as well. Too many guys let their little heads dominate their big heads - then afterwards their little heads don't get taken care of either!

If your girl is happy in life before marriage she will be after as well.

BAAAAWWWW...cut your losses and move on. I was in the same boat and losing the ring was well worth the fresh start that I had without all of the BS of our relationship.

The only regret is selling my 74 GTO to buy the ring...what a stupid thing to do.

I sued her for it, but realized it was better to just just let this dog lie...her attorney must have gotten his license from a cracker jack box, ignored my attorney for a while. Then he wasted time trying to toss my attorney from the case even though the ethics comittee cleared her to be my attorney, it turned into a circus. I took the high road...figuring that ring or money from it would be tainted and any part I bought with it would break!

The girl was and is a mental alcoholic, called 18 months after I dumped her that she had a kid....um how can that be? That issue would have come up when I went after the ring right? Now after dating the last 2 morons, I am on female vacation and boy I am happy!!! Just bought a house, added a good friend in my dog...Life is good.

Thanks guys!!!!!!

My Lobby thread disappeared, so I decided to come back here for an update.

Good days and bad; slowly better each day, it doesn't kill me to sneeze now so I consider that a good sign! I could probably start doing my beloved pushups again now; but I think the doctor would kill me, so I'll wait until after the June 18 visit with the surgeon before I go crazy.

I meet with the cancer doctor June 8; and I sure am NOT looking forward to that, I get depressed anytime I think about it or anyone ask questions about it. Just like right now typing this.

Gary and his family came over on Monday for a cook out and helped put up my kids new trampoline; that was a good time for sure. He pulled up with a trailer but broke my heart when I didn’t see a blue 68 on the back of it.

At my 5th day of full time back at work; the first couple were hard but they get better each day. Yesterday was rough because I ate something that didn’t agree with me; gas and what not all evening but that seems to have passed well enough now. Still getting around slow; but again, every day brings improvement.

So all I’m doing now is taking each day at a time; waiting for Chris to stop screwing around and come down here, and enjoying the family.

Damm BroHam , had no idea you were up against any health issues.
Good to hear something from you nonetheless.
Never caught your Lobby thread.

Sounds like you're keeping the sunny side up.
Thats the way Man. Rock On

Godspeed to you on full recovery.
Short list of things i pray about, and i'm putting you on the list.

... maybe Gary wants to fix the 68 up a little more before he brings it over
ha ha

hopefully it didn't get flattened yet
have you seen his pancake factory lately ?

Your original thread can be found doing a search, but not looking back since last post in that thread was 5-9-11 or something.

I spent 99% of my time in this area JL, so I figured this was appropriate enough.

Anytime, Steve!

Your one of the family..... and we need your good humor...thats for sure.

That series you did on your helper in the garage was one of the best on here.

Still have your VETTE?

Jeff

Yes, the L46 Vette is still in the stable as is one 69 GTO 400 block and a 65 tripower.
