There's another plate the goes with it, I tried down loading a photo but it wouldn't let me. Go to inline tube and search 65 pontiac water pump plate.

And you need a water pump w cast impeller
Many 64 got a cast and a steel divider If you want a sweet original pair I have them for 55 shipped |

Ames has the plates. In stainless to I believe. I git a nOS GM on in one of my tubs. Too cold to pull it out for a pic though.

Ames is a 2 piece set for 1963-68 water pumps with 8 bolts.

I personally have seen 3 different styles
for the 64-68 divider plates.... I think I still have all 3 styles early they were cast aluminum then went to tin with a round hole on rear plate then the impeller change and they went to the notched hole on rear plate the early cast plate does not fit in the 68 cover nor the 67 covers I have I have no info on repro plates... |
