IMO that Crane cam (hyd one) would not "pull all the way to 5500" in a 350 "maybe"

The baseline for performance appears to be a 702 Lunati Voodoo. If you just simply ran a bigger ratio rocker arm on a 702, and these other cams ran 1.5s (Summit 2802, Lunati 703, 276ah10 , Bulter’s 224/230,-12, and even the Bullet cam 222/230, with a 110LSA) would all have their hand full just keeping up with the 702 with a 1.65 HS rocker arm.
That Howard’s would be a different story, it wouldn’t be very close to those other cams, it is quite a bit bigger. I still would prefer the 112 LSA Howard’s with RA manifolds, the 110 LSA needs headers. If you wanted something from Bullet I’d call Tim back and have him bump the cam up to 228/236 on a 112 LSA with that same cam family. If you could get a Bullet that uses a stock dizzy gear, I would MUCH prefer that combination over the Howard’s. Would be worth the extra money. |

702 Lunati with a 1.65 Harlan Sharp rocker (which runs close to 1.7 ratio) would be about .530”/.554”. Not exactly small for a 219/227 @.050” cam.

If Lunati was still making us cams I'd recommend my 282/290 hydraulic roller w 110lsa, great idle and nice power band through 5800rpm. Not a lot of vacuum at about 12" but that's what a Hella 5.0 vacuum pump is for. Hahaha
