Update.....Got the new Bird out this past weekend at BIR. We competed at the first bracket race weekend while also qualifying #5 of 8 door cars in a quick 16 race (8 dragsters/8 door cars) w/ an 8.37 @ 162mph. Car made 10 passes between 8.37 & 8.42 (brakes). Our daughter Kaylyn had a new personal best in our 68 Firebird w/ a 9.21 @ 146mph. Special thanks again to Bill Meyer for all his support with our motors.

Congrats, Aaron!

Sounds like it's a bracket car.

I can imagine it is.
His 'old' car was fantastic, I would think this should be even better.

Jim,
It all depends on breakage, also there are a few untested cars out there so who knows.....maybe 7.80-7.90's to 8.20's.

Nice job Aaron! I saw most of your runs on Saturday. My son and I stopped by a couple times to say hi, but you had a big group admiring the car each time.
