Road douchebaggery
Drivers here in New Mexico are a rum lot - either flathatting like maniacs or barely moving. We also have an excess of jacked up full size pickup with the usual assortment of redneck nonsense: 8"+ diameter exhaust extensions, tow nuts, etc.
But one thing in particular lately warrants these twunts a swift kick: running towing mirrors when you are not actually towing anything. Perhaps it is these mouthbreather's equivalent of manspreading on the road and in parking lots? note the bed exhaust in the last pic - pure dopery [/rant] |

Wannabe big rig drivers that can't pass the CDL test...…………..
They can't, and shouldn't be allowed to drive anything over 26,000#, and of course no airbrakes. |

Around here they do the same thing, but they use wheel offset instead.
Usually more tire outside the wheelwell than in, without fender flares. |

How about the tall snorkel air intakes sticking up beside the passenger side window? like they are going anywhere near water!

I love lifted trucks, but hate stacks and tow mirrors.

While I think this stuff is stupid ... I remember our jacked up, crazy paint jobs, side pipes, sex vans, etc from the 70's and I try not to judge. They are stupid, we were stupid, kids will be kids.

We have a lot of that here too (and many "interesting" Jeeps).
Based on this thread, I'd say if their goal is to get attention it must be working so more power to them! At least they are into modifying their vehicles and not afraid to work on them. Big change from the vehicular flora of suburban Seattle where we last lived for sure! Even if some are comical, I'd rather look and listen to most of them than the remaining 99% of the cars that remind me of jelly beans on wheels. |

Lots of modded trucks in Montana. Now some of them get used for real. Some are pretty shiny. The king of the hill is 1 ton 4wd dually
crew diesel. There is local company that does the huge winch bumpers custom, and the heavy duty flatbeds. So those are mandatory. There is one local one like described above that is a triple crew cab. The funny new wannabe trend is 1/2 ton crew with 5 foot flatbeds.

My only complaint about the tow mirrors is those dicks that drive a certain winding, narrow, 2 lane road near me with those things sticking 6 inches over the double yellow line.
It’s usually older guys driving those things out here. The kids will usually drive Toyota trucks that look like they’re outfitted for the Baja 1,000 - and doing long one wheel burnouts with their open rear ends.

I tell you a trend I don’t understand is kids in brand new 65-85 thousand dollar trucks. You go to our local HS parking lot and it’s full of lifted Denalis and SLT Chevrolets. Who has the money to spend that much on a teenagers ride
