Issues with 69 Firebird
First issue is the right turn signal indicator light, in dash, comes on when headlights are turned on. It blinks, as it should, when right turn signal is activated.
Second issue is the temp gauge goes to 250 degrees within a few miles even though my pyrometer tells me it is only at 180 degrees. Sending unit is new. Any ideas?? Thanks Steve

sounds like a ground problem to me . make sure that the all the wiring harness connectors under the dash is plugged together good and tight. under the dash is a ground wire to metal mabee more than one wire. remove and clean each ground wire . if that doesnt help clean the ground wire from the firewall to the motor and the ground wire from the fender to the frame

It's likely that either the right front lamp socket isn't grounded properly or there is a problem with the bulb (this can happen if a single-filament bulb is installed in place of a dual-filament one). You could ground the bulb with a piece of wire as a test.
