Default disc brake power booster and master cylinder questions

ok
thanks for looking

heres the deal ,.... new booster for a buddies car has no push rod showing
my original has a push rod,,,,he had manual drum

whats the deal ?? there is NO pushrod in the repro

and

the master cylinder has a DEEP hole in the repro
and
my old original 69 EA 's are shallow as is my original 71 442 master

can these interchange ? the new "no Pushrod showing" booster
and
the deep hole master ? does that black ring in there move and push the master ?

thanks

One of the reasons we don't sell boosters is haphazard quality. I would get the rod from the vendor who sold that to you.

hmmmm ok ....

easy fix

pull the old one out with vise grips
put it in the new booster ,,,, set the master up against it and it fits flush ,,,, no pressure pushing back as some of the folks had issues with ... holding a tad of master cylinder pressure ,,,,

we are golden .........

oh and by the way ,,,,, always check the bottom of the box for candy .... found my answers in the bottom of the box .....
