Back in a ‘70 TA
After almost a decade, a 1970 TA is back in my garage. I actually tried to buy this car back in 2018 from Gary F. out in CA. The deal didn’t go through (my fault) but he wound up selling it to a dealer here in NJ. What are the chances? The dealer sold the car to another NJ resident last year, who decided he wanted to get a Bentley for his wife, so it wound up back in the dealer’s showroom on consignment. What are the chances? A car I tried to buy that was 3000 miles away winds up 45 min from me. Strange.
Anyway, car is 100% numbers matching. Gary repainted it and redid the motor back in 2009. I’ll post some more pictures. I just brought the car home today. The dealer put on larger, aftermarket honeycomb wheels with modern rubber, but I have the original JW wheels with Polyglas tires that Gary ran. He also added the ‘RAM AIR’ decals to the shaker. I plan on running the Rally II wheels (and removing the decals). Am super excited to have a mirror image of my old TA. I even still have my old TA plates and once NJ DMV opens again, plan on trying to get those reassigned to this car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks like a great cat. I know many prefer the Blue cars but my favorite are the White cars. Enjoy.

Beautiful car, congrats! Crazy story, I guess it was meant to be. I went 10 yrs without a GTO when I sold my 70 until I got my 69. Thought about it every day until I got it, I'm sure you did too.
