I like the look too, BUT, short sidewall tires were made to be run with fast and sensitive MacPherson strut suspension. Without it, these cars ride like a 1 ton truck because the suspension is so SLOW, and the sidewall doesn't take any of the road bumps. This is mostly due to rubber in the A arms. Dela A Lum bearings could help this some on a stock suspension, speed it up by about 200%.

I put the original JW wheels/GY Polyglas tires on the car yesterday. I prefer the stock look.

Looks fantastic w the R2s & I'm a stock rim fan too, but I gotta admit those oversize honeycombs look GREAT also! I personally would keep both sets and swap occasionally. VERY nice car

Oh man - it looks SO much better!!!
I used to prefer the blue cars, but these days I really prefer the white cars... with blue interior like yours!

Looks really good!
If you're thinking about unloading the honeycombs let me know.

Coolness!
I've come to like Rallys better on white cars and Honey's on blue. But ask me again after another few months and I might feel different by then. |
