Default WTB 78-80 Grand Am

Want as little rust as possible, with a decent bucket seat interior.

Drivetrain not important - as it will be swapped.

Prefer no landau / vinyl half roof - but beggars can't be choosers.

Please send me a forum message or post in the thread.

And if I'm looking for the impossible - please post in the thread and make fun of me... I like it.

Thanks

Jim

Default GA in LA

Thanks. I guess I will contact him for pics...

I knew that a few Grand Ams/Grand Prix's were build with 4 speeds - but I never heard of a "Hurst Special Edition"

I know Hurst made some special edition Cutlass Supremes with the dual gate Hurst shifter but that was later I think - like 83/83/85 maybe?

$7500, 720K miles, rebuilt title... so many questions ! 😂

Thanks - that car looks just like my 78 with the black and gold two tone paint job. Need to find a pic to be sure but... I think mine had different gold snowflake wheels on it.

Do you see any Hurst badging in that photo? I just see the normal GA badges and the dealer emblem on the rear deck lid.

Mine did have that same landau roof though... not a fan... rather have a plain steel roof.

There were ~233 factory 4 speed Grand Ams. 1979 only.
They came with a Saginaw 4 speed with a Hurst shifter.

No Hust Edition, just a Hust shifter.
