Default $2,300 tail light bezels?

Wow, I've seen some price gougers, but this is crazy:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-1970-197...9d7b08&vxp=mtr

If anyone pays that, I've got some NOS parts to sell

Yeah He must work at FBody Warehouse. Indeed quite a stash. I'd love to have that formula hood!

I once asked him about one of his auctions for a high priced NOS cable he was selling for a '73 T/A. Turned out to be a worthless NOS cable for some other Pontiac.

One might think he would use a lower starting bid with a reserve or provide a make an offer option to promote some activity on his items.

I'm tempted to buy the NOS hood for $3k and cut out the scoops per the item description . . shaaa right!

If they sell, that is the price of perfection. If they don't, the price of perfection will be realigned, or perfection will sit on a shelf for a while, until perfection outlooks brighten. That is my amateur forecast.

I will say they are a thing of beauty.

the vast majority of original boxed and well stored NOS pot metal headlight and taillight bezels I went through in the course of buying dealer stocks in the late 80's and 90's was not perfect, no where near perfection. Usually a little factory flaw here or there. In nearly every case, perfection meant the piece needed to be shipped out stripped and professionally replated.

No wonder there's no bids at all on any items.

275$ for a steering column cover.. Come'on, really? What about 455$ for a rag joint? lol

I would have an original set rechromed before spending anything close to that.
