As mentioned we made 16 pulls in our recent dyno session. After a few initial pulls the engine was pretty consistent throughout the whole session. We could of made more pulls but we were not there chasing numbers, nor making equipment changes. Except for a different cam it was the same basic combination as before so we had the advantage of knowing the previous jetting and timing to start with. Changed the break-in oil to synthetic after pull number eight. Only made one jetting change and only one timing change. Started with the recommended valve lash and made one change to a tighter setting, then went back to the original setting.

We dyno'd with the same intake manifold and carb as used before the cam change, so the comparison is close to being apples-to-apples. But I'm now running direct port fuel injection and the EFI controls and sensors will change things. The shop was not equipped to dyno with my FI system.
