Default Need Help to Identify Front License Plate Bracket

Hi all,
Hoping for help to identify what year this bracket belongs to..
Bought some early 2nd gen parts from a PY member which included this bracket. I need a 70 bracket (did find one recently) so this one will be for sale.
Did a search and can't find another example the same.
It looks like it may be late 72 and 73?
It has the folded over ends to hold the plate but has spot welded tabs each with "91220" stamped on them to secure the top of the plate
Thanks,
Steve

There should be 2 little rubber bumpers on the bracket (it should be bent out further) where it rests against the front valance. Same for 70 and up to 73

71-73 .
In 1970 there was/ is NO side guides for plates on all models that required a front plate, US market or not.
71-73 brackets were standardized for US plates, and stronger due to the edge guides.
Reproduction brackets are 71-73 style

Thanks Bruce.
What I was unsure about was the spot welded brackets to allow mounting screws for the top of the license plate. I don't think the repops have that feature

Default My 70 front bracket plate

I bought this for my formula 400 not sure if 70 but hope so. I don't see any part number or rubber bumpers. If mine is correct use my pics as a guide and who's got rubber bumpers and where they go?

Bruce,
'73 was a '71-2 bracket with the "491220" tabs spot welded on, so it was it's own bracket. And I thought the repops were the '70 variety, but they don't show the backside.

Ignacio,
Yours look like the '70. The bumpers were PN 9777365. Should be able to find them on eBay. Like these from Ames, https://secure.amesperf.com/qilan/De...part_num=FL663
