Default "Car Chasers" TV show '71 SJ - anybody see?

Happened to be flipping around the dial a few nights ago, and thought I saw a quick glimpse of a GP. Turned back and found out I was right!

"Car Chasers" isn't a show I'd normally watch, but I wanted to see as much of that Prix as I could. '71 SJ with brown paint, black top, cream interior... and a bench! I know GPs with benches were odd, but I never knew any SJes got them.

Saw that episode yesterday, that was a damn nice original car and a deal at $8K. Yep, bench was optional, even on SJ's.

So glad they didn't "Fast N Loud" the ol' girl and put sidepipes or a blower on it. Nice buy of an SJ and it really was a fair deal for everyone.

Very true. I've been dreading the day when the Gas Monkeys or their ilk butcher one for all to see. Enough GPs (and everything else) have been destroyed by idiots without TV to egg them on.

Is there something wrong with a fast and loud grand prix?

yes, for me there would be. it boils down to personal preference, and I don't prefer what they do with the majority of their builds. although, I do like the show.

Any idea what the name of the episode was? Would not mind checking it out. There all here but not sure what one you watched?
