Default WTB one Speed pro L2359NF .030 piston for a 455.

In need of one piston. One pin land was screwed up when getting pressed in. Pin and rod are fine. Thanks Mike

Wow ! Looks like maybe the SP L2359NF pistons have been discontinued.

Don't seem like it's been more than a year ago that they were just over $300 per set, at Summit & on Ebay. Now it just says "Not Available".

I suppose the market dried up, just as it did for 350, 389, & 428 engines.

Seems that most everybody nowadays goes with the 4.25" stroker, or goes with lighter 4.21" stroke pistons.

So, I suppose the old TRW piston 455's like we use to build are just part of Pontiac history now.

2020 is probably the strangest year I've ever seen, for a lot of reasons.

They quit making these in 2018 and was just selling what was left in stock. Hopefully you can find one.

Well, I suppose the 4.21 stroke guys now would probably choose either Icon, SRP, or Auto Tec shelf pistons, OR go with Ross or some of the other high dollar customs.

My choice would be Auto Tec, in order to get more pin height, without the custom piston price.

Anyhow, instead of just over $300, the cheapest forged 455 pistons will now be a bit over $500, I suppose.

Don't know where to find the best shipped price on some of these. Will depend on initial price + shipping + tax. There are still some Ebay stores that don't charge tax. Hey, on a $500 purchase, that makes a difference.

Icon flat-tops are part number IC888, plus the oversize.

Dish tops are # IC889, plus the oversize.

The SRP flat-top # is 149721. The bore size is 4.185.

The 4.185 bore Auto Tec # is 1000582. But, if someone is doing a 400 or 428 block stroker, with a 4.21 stroke crank, Auto Tec also has 'em in 4.150 & 4.160 bore sizes. They can locate the pin hole where you need it.

Hey, I realize that some guys don't care about price & prefer to buy from Pontiac shops or let their engine builder select the vendor. Hey, that's great. No problem. Since I've always been on a low budget, I just always look for the best prices I can find, in order to stretch my dollars as far as i can. Most country folks in my area are the same way. That's why most of us shop at Wal Mart. Would MUCH prefer to have lots of money so that price didn't matter.

If you search L2359F on Ebay, there are some new .040 singles listed, and a lot of 6 used .030 units for sale. Hope this helps-
