Meet & greet kinda deal out at the airport. I hope Arnie will give a little talk. At least that’s what usually happens.
Bring some bug spray if you come out Friday night. Last year the mosquitoes were bad news.

The strip is at the airport a couple miles west of town. They usually have the meet up in a building there. I think someone posted a pick of the flyer somewhere on this site. I assume it’s the same this year.

I called the track to see if the concession bar was going to open. It will be. With food and drink. That makes packing a little easier.

I am just about to head out and drive three-quarters of the way across Kansas in a 53 year old automobile.

Wish me luck!

Concession food there is pretty good!!!

If there's a young girl taking money, tip her well, she does a great job!!! She's the concession owners grand daughter.

I'm leaving early in am.Coming alone. Other 2 can't make it.

Had a great time!

Ignore the light...Frank G of all Pontiac was in the other lane and he left before the tree even activated and I was in awe watching him just driving away with no tree and then when the tree actually activated I was like...oh crap! Lol

Was Frank driving? Who ever was driving made 2 passes like that. Rolled out way early and gradually got into the throttle.... I thought it might be a new driver testing? Anyone?
