Trying to locate 70 GTO Judge
Hello everyone. I am trying to find out where my mom's 1970 Cardinal red GTO Judge is now located. Its first owner was Jessie Hopkins. He bought it brand new off the show case. It was in Bishopville SC. It was then passed down to my mom and stayed in Bishopville SC. After that, a man named Mr. Stokes bought it from her around 1990. He restored it and took it to a car show in Charlotte NC. A man in Pineville NC. bought it from Mr. Stokes, and after that we have lost track of it. We do not have a vin. number or anything like that. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

It would help if you could describe any options the car had...especially odd options.
automatic/manual transmission? Ram Air III or IV? interior trim, color, options?

We know that it had red interior with bucket seats and the console and the 8 track player in it. It was an automatic trans but had a column shift. Had functioning ram air hood. According to the guy (who is now in his 70's) that bought it from my mom said he had the engine rebuilt and only replaced the rear bumper since it had some rust on it when he owned it. The two pictures that are shown as restored came from the guy that bought it. We are unsure if he had it repainted or if he left it with its original paint but detailed.

Well the column shift might help with the search since not many kept that for long. Good luck with the search.
