Just did a search through racing junk. Several 62 & 63 cars for sale. One is listed as a 62 convertible for $1000, picture shows it as a 63!! Ca needs some work but overall doesnt look too bad. http://www.racingjunk.com/Pontiac/23...nvertable.html

Default Look before you leap

I was going to look at this car, but called the owner for information before driving 4 hours. The owner said the car sat outside, uncovered before he bought it. A year ago he sold the car to a guy in Wyoming, received the check, mailed the title, and waited for the guy to pick it up....never happened. After a year of storage costs, he reclaimed it and is selling it again without a title. The WY buyer won't answer phone calls.

According to the seller, the car's interior is complete, but brittle and weathered. The steering wheel is cracked. I was looking for maroon interior parts for my car, so will pass on this one. Many good mechanical parts, decent trim parts, hood, and trunk lid, wheels and covers. Still a good price at $1000 if you are needing those kind of parts for your own project, but too high to part out for resale.
