1969 Vacuum Power Door Locks
I parted out a 1969 Grand Prix a little over 20 yrs ago that had a set of vacuum power door locks. At the time, I had somebody wanting a set, but I was a little slow parting the car out. I've got somebody wanting the setup now.
I packed the door lock set up and a number of other parts away in a plastic crate. While unpackaing the crate, I found a couple of parts in the box that I'm not sure of what they are. The parts are 8719855 (RH) and 8719856 (LH). I'm not sure what they fit. There is a pair of blue ones on Ebay right now for sale. The seller calls them "Mystery Part Blue Hinge Covers 1970s Firebird TA". Here is the link to the ad. https://www.ebay.com/itm/186427722571 Does anybody know what these are? Are they part of the power lock setup? |

Those pieces fit in the door panels behind the chrome door handles that you squeeze to open the door. Only used in 69 GP's

Thanks. I got an email from a friend who I also asked if he knew what they were. He said there was an early style and late style. Mine are black and are the early style.
