Default 1962 recast steering wheel

Wanted to share pic of my 62 recast black wheel. It turned out very nice. Was done in Sweden and cost about $800 all in. About $150.00 of that is shipping.

The best way to communicate is through email. His name is Magnus Stade. Email stade.b@telia.com he is usually 2-3 months depending on if he has a rechromed core available. I was a little over 2 months getting mine back. I used the post office to ship they had the best price to ship to Sweden.

Default core

He has the core rechromed before he recast the wheel.

Wow, smokin hot! I've known about Magnus for some time since I've seen others post his work before. Had been thinking about getting my '63 Cat wheel done. Not a restored show car but the wheel is such a focal point of the interior.

Beautiful work!

Could you make them a smaller diameter for a faster steering response... Switching from a 15" Grant wheel to a 13" made a world of difference in how the car felt, much more responsive..

Default Wheel Recasting

Contacted Magnus to ask if he could do similar for my 63 LeMans wheel. He mentioned that the mold for that wheel is different than the 62 model so he wouldn't be able to work on it.

The search continues

Another example of Magnus's work, my blue tinted wheel in my 61 Catalina. He has done a couple for me.

Looks great, at that price I'd consider having mine done instead of having having an aftermarket.
