PCV went to the base plate on the carburetor. Seen those factory dual port fittings with one line plugged on a few cars. Also seen a single outlet fitting that points to the side. No idea where to get a new one May have to settle for a good used one Clay |

I'm curious to know what it is and its function
Foolish of me... the part comes from my 1977 T/A 400.

It's just a vacuum fitting with 2 ports. It was for the EGR and EFE valves, both of which you don't need to use, unless you just want to. So you could cap it off. Probably the only way to get one just like it is to find a used original from a 75-79 400 intake.
It's not for the pcv. There's another fitting with a single larger port above that one on the intake for the pcv hose.

i wasnt sure what year the intake was when i made a guess. the earlier years without a carb located PCV port used a single port fitting for the PCV on the intake... but for a 77 the PCV connects to the front port on the carb, not on the intake.
