Default The NEW "CV-330/Twister" CNC Street/Strip Package !!!

The NEW "CV-330/Twister" CNC Street-Strip Package !!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

... ok guys we have been very hard at work on "one" of the CNC Street/Strip Package's for the CV-1 canted valve Pontiac head, and this one is a combination of the CV-330 "MaxCast" intake port, and the Twister exhaust port ...

... this package uses all Manley parts, Stainless Valves, NexTek springs up to (.850 lift), Titanium Retainers, locks and base locators ...

... this cylinder head is also a 450cfm head without the need for "offset shafts" meaning it also doesn't require offset lifters and can use a rocker arm from a BBC design, which helps keep costs down to make this head a very affordable 450cfm option for the Pontiac enthusiast ...

... this CNC package will also work on stock-blocks with a 4.210 or bigger bore and have no trouble achieving pump gas compression ratios on a 4.210 X 4.500 stroke (501c.i.) combination with excellent valve to bore clearance, it is also worth mentioning the CV-330 intake port has 390fps of peak airspeed ...

... so to be precise, this CNC Package includes all the parts & labor included in the prices listed below for two offerings, which is "With New Castings" or "Customer Castings" complete and out the door plus shipping to the customers return address ...

... we are also currently working on special fixturing to be able to CNC port both of the currently available casted manifolds for this CNC package, one being a low-rise stock hood clearing design, and the other a cast tunnel ram design, which as soon as those prices are available, we will be updating this thread with that information ...

(Customer Castings) = $3225.00

(NEW Castings) = $5330.00

.800 - (452.7)

.900 - (453.0)

.600 - 248 cfm

.700 - 264 cfm

.800 - 272 cfm

.900 - 281 cfm

.950 - 285 cfm

... and on a further note, we are currently building a pump gas 565c.i. CV-330/Twister CNC headed combo in the shop as we speak, and this engine will prove to be our pilot program to one of our crate engines here at Mondello Racing Engines for the Pontiac platform, and this combo will also have one my custom built Anderson Port Development carburetors for this application, so we are very excited to see what this combo is capable of, and we will be sure to keep everyone posted as to it's results for those that are interested ...

... we are also currently working to finish the "RACE" version of this cylinder head package, and we should have everything thing we need sometime tomorrow as some of our vendors have adjusted their pricing schedule for 2013 and we want to be accurate on our pricing, but i will post that info as soon as i have it ...

... for anymore questions or details please feel free to call us at the shop and ask for Tim or Bill, and we would be happy to answer any questions you may have, or email ...

... to get that cubic inch you'd need a Tall-Deck block, but yes, we are excited as well about the Pump Gas 565 build, we think it will provide a lot of value for our customers and be a serious Street/Strip combination, not to mention the CV-1's superior cooling capabilities in street trim ...

Working on your post count?

It would be cool to see someone step up and buy this and run it hard. It certainly could settle some of the drama.

Oh and BTW...Subscribing

... thank you Conrad, we feel the CV-1 is a great platform for street/strip applications, and we think this combo will do very well, so yes we are looking forward to getting this combo together and making some dyno pulls ...

... but the customer is very close to having the car ready for this combo as well, so we'll get to test it on the dragstrip also ...
