Default 1968 GP rear power antenna placement

New member here.

I'm looking for anyone that has a rear antenna on a 68 Pontiac Grand Prix; or similar body style. My Dad is relocating his antenna to the rear panel. I have searched the internet and can't find any templates or measurements to where exactly it should be placed.

If anyone could help with measurements or direct me where to find a template, please let me know.

Thanks for the help.

Derek Thompson in Hawley PA at That's A Gem Restoration has a parts car with a power antenna that he got from me.

You know its in the factory spot if the trunk lid snags the antenna when you pop the trunk with the antenna up. Not the finest hour of Pontiac engineering. The trunklid is wider at the bumper end than at the rear glass end.
