69 Firebird 400 4-speed Trans AM clone project at $6.5K with a $9.8K BIN in NY. That air cleaner and high twisty valve cover doodads scream JC Whitney bolt-on bling. Period correct, but it shows the life it lead as a hot rod. I beat the **** out of my 1970 GTO when I was 16 and it was a blast.

78 Trans AM 4-speed in CA at $30K. Is it just me, or are the price of Trans AM's going down? This is a really nice car. Aerosmith 8 track and cigarette lighter pic is awesome, as it speaks to the time it was produced and the target audience.

Which wheels would you pick for a 67 GTO?

67 GTO in Florida at $58K. I like the stance of the mags, and while I may not have picked that style, the bigger wheels probably make it handle nicer. If I were selling this car, I'd put the Rally I's on it. The air cleaner looks horrid, and replacing it with a stock air cleaner would raise the value of the car IMO.

The 78 4spd TA seems like a nice car with minimal quirks.
I would choose it over a lot of the same period TA's that sell for more on BaT.

The 67 air cleaner is available repop and most would rather have the repop for much less.

The Triple White 67 GTO Convt belonged to a guy I know and it was extremely nice and well optioned with all matching numbers . Beautiful creampuff car.

The only wheels that look right on a 67 GTO , are all 14x6.

79 Trans AM 4-speed in Missouri with a reserve. Sad that often when cars sit for some time the shaker gets ripped off. It may be a salvaged car because it doesn't run, and the mileage is listed as 1.
