Default Need your opinion regarding the quarter louvers

Need your opinion regarding the quarter louvers. I have had basically 95% if the metal replaced over the last three years. The car is looking good and almost done at the body shop. Since all the sheet metal is new, I really do not want to start drilling holes in the car. I have to drill holes in the new trunk for the aftermarket, carbon fiber rear spoiler, so there is 8 new holes already. I am not installing any of the badges so no extra holes there.

I have found original quarter louvers, but do I really want to drill 24 more holes in new quarters.... I do not plan on driving in bad weather, but I know it will happen.

My thought was grinding off the rear posts, getting an industrial strength adhesive and install them that way.

Is this a bad idea...
