Default 1965 Bonneville disc brake conversion

I'm hoping to buy a 1965 Bonneville that has had front disk brakes added. It has 15 inch American Racing rims with whitewall tires. I want to use stock 15 inch Pontiac rims and hubcaps, to be able to use the existing whitewalls, but I am concerned about the clearance of the calipers. Will any 15 inch Pontiac rim work? Thanks.

I use 15 inch Rally II's from a later big Pontiac. I don't see why you couldn't use a plain late rim.

I think it depends on the front disc brake kit used, but when I installed the Master Power's front disc kit on my '64 GP they told me that I had to use later (like at least '71) 15" wheels that were made for disc brake cars. I don't believe the early 15" wheels will work, even if they are 15s.

Thank you for your reply. It makes sense to use a wheel from a disc brake car.
