Adhesive/glue for rear interior side panels?
So...reconditioning the old interior side panels in the back seat area of my 70 GTO and wondering what type of adhesive/glue to use to fold back the rear edges of the vinyl covering to the backer cardboard where the rear seat back overlaps.
Ideas from those who have done this or know? I suppose it ideally doesn't matter since the seat back covers it, but now would be the time. If my description isn't clear...I mean these panels (rear edge).

I used 3m contact cement in the tube for all of my interior upholstery work. Coat both surfaces with an acid brush, let it skim over for a few minutes and press it down. I'm sure the spray will work the same, I just like more control applying it with a brush.

I've used 3M 08031 fast tack in the tube, but Dap Weldwood in a bottle and brush seems to work even better. The 3M high tack spray super adhesive works ok too.

Oops, I had to edit...I at first stated 'yes' but after looking at a pic of the 08031 that tjs72lemans posted, THAT is the stuff I used.

Gosh...the 3M is out of stock everywhere ($14.99) and DAP is in stock at the Home Depot down the street ($6.89).
Might have to give it a try...thx.
