Nope, all the literature I have read called for Red, Yellow, BLUE. Blue being the predominate color, and they look great!

Held for Ransom, Wow! Thats a lot of Blue Judges in one area. I actually found another one (auto)here in San Diego, but I can't verify if its real or a clone

If you have any pictures of your friend's Atoll Blue '70 I would really like to see them. I want to see what my car will look like when its finally finished.

im working on a 1970 phs documented judge. it has a unique color combo. original two toned, cardinal red with a polar white top (not vynil). #'s matching car with raIV and sandalwood interior.

HAS ANYONE ELSE HEARD OF A JUDGE WITH THIS KIND OF PAINT SCHEME?

Blueweasel, I've never even heard of a two tone GTO let alone a Judge. With your car being a ram air IV I doubt there is another one like it. How far a long are you in the restoration?

...and I thought having a Sandalwood Cordova top on my car was odd

R 70 Judge, his car is taken apart and will probably be a few years before getting finished. He has one of those cars OPH talks about (SR block, replaced after warranty ran out but had so few miles they replaced it, but he has the papers to document it).

the color code on my invoice is (rc) r = cardinal red, c = polar white. the first item listed is "two tone-std" the price and a "rtt" code. it also lists "the Judge" second on the invoice, the price and "332" code.

im kind of guessing that it was either a special order or a two toned gto that had the judge package added. unfortunately the original owner has passed on and cant ask him.

i can get some pics of the car when it was new and post them. http://performanceyears.com/ubb/tongue.gif

The trim plate should have a code like 75 10 PNT, if it had a vinyl top it would have a letter designation for the last set. That is why they put the code twice, in case someone needed to know.

the code plate does have (75 10 pnt) where the color code is. im guessing that it means cardinal red with a polar white top and the pnt means paint not vynil.

I've been mentally keeping track of colors as well.

From my experience, Atoll Blue Judges match the rate of blue GTOs in comparison to the whole. I think the same thing for red.

I think white Judges wer built in a higher rate than regular GTOs.

The golds tend to be a little rarer.

Black is probably rated higher on a Judge than on regular GTOs.

Orbit Orange could be the most popular color for Judges, followed by white, blue, and red.

Statistically speaking, Mint Turquoise should be the rarest color for a Judge, and I'd believe it.

I've seen one other two-tone Judge. It too was red and white and a RAIV automatic. And in the Goatfinder, there was a RAIII car in the reverse color scheme.

I don't have a Judge - but mine is just as cool and even rarer! A 1970 GTO Convertible with 455 H.O. and RAM AIR!! A 4spd car. All original and documented. A #2.5 driver car and it runs and looks great. Has Hood Tach and console and Rally II's all documented. A/C too!! How many 455 RA convertibles have you seen? with 4spd?

In a couple of years (after building up all NOS or mint parts) I'll do a frame off on the car. I've owned it for 2 weeks! Drove it home from Oklahoma to New Jersey.

Mine is Atoll Blue, Dark Blue Interior with Black Convertible top.

You have a rare car. 158 4 speeds and 224 automatic convertibles with the 455 were made as compared to a total 168 Judge convertibles made in 1970.

My '63 Catalina hardtop shares garage space with a Mint Turquoise '70 Judge.

Very cool car in that color.

Beats that bubble gum pink color....
