WHAT is that ridiculous, 4 wheeled monstrosity that that awesome sierra yellow Judge is strapped to!!?????!! Looks like it would really affect handling, plus it totally alters ride height. Nothing FACTORY about that accessory!! LMAO!

PonchoV8, The owner said he and Customizeit couldn't work things out. The owner had been online ( I don't know what web site) asking questions about the car, because he really had no idea what he had. He then began receiving offers on the car and it was sold shortly afterwards.

Slowgto, Yes, the car does have Sandlewood interior and top.

7T Goat, Im not saying that the story he gave you is not true but i bet there was some underhanded stuff going down with this sale. How come the new owner does not want to be known? I would think anybody would be proud they got it unless some underhanded stuff went down. You and I both know how SOME PEOPLE IN THE PONTIAC WORLD stoop so low just to get a car. And usually its always about the money. I find it very hard to believe that the owner was just asking questions on line!!! Im sure he knew about this thread like everyone else. ITS a shame,And CUSTOMIZET, I hope you learned a very valuable lesson here. NEVER POST ANYTHING ABOUT A RARE CAR THAT YOU KNOW IS FOR SALE UNTILL YOU GET IT.Lets see if the car gets flipped for big money now.

Probably some used car dealer bought it cheap, will clean it up and ask big money for it. And us little guys will continue to suffer.

Default Judge convertible

Yeah, some guy with a comb-over, bad breath and an ugly suit. He probably doesn't know a Chevy from a Pontiac

Default Fremont cars

HFR:

Out of curiosity, why do you collect Fremont car information? I have a 69, carousel red, 4 speed Judge that was built at Fremont (build date 7-14-69). It is optioned with: 3.55, hide-aways, rally gauge package, redlines, console, black interior, and maybe one or two other. No posi, no a/c. Delivered new to Salt Lake City. The car is undergoing a concours restoration. I was lucky enough to find the build sheet while pulling the tar paper. I would be happy to share information if you want it. Paper is pretty bad though.

DuaJudge: there have been some good posts about how to clean old build sheets (to remove tar-etc..) by soaking in lacquer thinner without doing damage.

:Customizeit: mainly wanted to know if the Jvert was a good flipper "as-is", he had no interest in GTO's or restorations. He just fell into the Car by chance. If we all had fluffed him into thinking the car was worth $100,000 "as-is" he probably would have done a second mortgage. If he felt swindled I'm sure he would have found his way back here to tell us about it.

The grapevine said the new owner doesn't want to sell the Car or entertain offers that might change his mind. So he remains anonymous for as long as possible. Once it is restored, probably won't be that many offers to entertain.

Jamesgennock, the car is not mine.

Sorry Ram4king, that you don't believe the story. When I said Customizeit couldn't work it out, that was putting it mildly. It's a great story and there is so much more to it but both owners don't want anymore said...and for good reasons. So don't assume that there has been any "underhanded stuff" because this one was done the right way....I'm done here.

I'd like to buy it and flip it. Maybe sell it to that dealer in Philly for $200k as is.

Default Judge convertible

I just flipped some pancakes and last week I flipped my fat sow bellied, blubbering mother-in-law off her back, after she gorged herself at the all-u-can eat Ponderosa buffet.

p.s. I find it hard to believe that anyone on this site would ever flip a car for profit.

Maybe you should get out of the life insurance business and concentrate on comedy writing.

Ohhhhhh noooooooo, never done that!

Let's see, there was the 72 Esprit 4spd I bought for $400 and sold for $1800, the 70 RAIII/auto TA I bought for $1100 and sold for $5000 but kept the rims and polyglass gt's, oh, there was that 70 Judge vert I had back in '96 that I owned for exactly 42 hours.........

HFR,
The tune up tag is on the radiator cowl on my Fremont Judge. I know this car is restored, but was it supposed to be on the shroud?
