Liberty Blue Judge convertible that was purchased new in Kansas by a guy that was 19 years old. He traded it two years later on a new 71 Judge Convertible.

Here's a picture of him as he was heading to the dealership to trade it in...

Yes, the Judge came with the Black Vinyl top. Color was Midnight Green with Black int. Gosh I had a lot of fun with that car Notice the I now own an almost exact car (less the Judge option). Another picture I found, notice the FM converter in the 8 track! GREAT stuff that FM

I had a FM converter, but mine was a seperate unit under the dash instead of in the 8-track player. Definatly better than AM only!

Heres my car circa 1975-6 I met the original owner last week at a show and he sent me some pics, how neat is that? Dig that crazy mural, and those pants LOL.
I wonder if he chatted to the "bandit" on that CB radio.

Also a pic when the car was 2 days old.

Awesome thread by the way!!

Here's a pic circa 1978/79 of some of my friends cars...mine is the RAIII GTO.
We were hanging out at a friends cottage at Crystal Beach Ont. Canada and we decided to get a "group" picture of our cars.

A little info on each car left to right...

69 442 'Vert, no option radio delete car, 400, M21, and either 3.90 or 4.10 gear. This car is a beast. Car is restored and is located in VA.

69 RAIII GTO 'Vert, M20, 3.55 posi. I bought this a few years earlier off of the original owner. The car is wearing it's original paint in this picture. I don't think this car survived.

'68 Firebird, 400, M20, 3.55 posi. This car was rode hard all it's life...it didn't survive.

'65 Buick Skylark 'Vert, 300, auto. Nice car, unfortunately it was wrecked a couple of years later and didn't make it.

'67 Delta 88 'Vert, 425, auto. We rebuilt the original motor and it's a real sleeper. He still owns this car in NY.

'70 Buick GS, Stage 1 455, auto and I don't remember the gear. This is a very rare car, 1 of 200ish. He painted it using the GSX scheme, later he restored the car to it's original colors (similar to Meridian turquoise). Last I heard, this car is in a collection in PA.
This is the fastest street car I have ever driven...brutal is the only word that comes to mind.

Sorry for the length and lack of Judge content...

Mike

I have that car, it still has the plates on it from the late '70s, I believe '77. Purchased it in 1983 still have'nt done anything with it yet, to many other projects got in the way, been collecting parts ,NOS Quarters, fenders, door skins, spoilers, stripes etc. Still has origional paint but is very rough. Oshawa built, ram air III, M20, Hood Tach.
Someone took a photo of it when it was sitting outside of my brothers body shop and sent it to the ultimate GTO site, look at out to pasture goats.
Yea, its not a pretty sight, someone stole the doors of it.

Is it this car? I didn't spend much at Crystal Beach and never saw the Judge.

This might be a good time to find out if anyone can fill in some of my car's history. I spoke to a past owner of the Judge about 20 years ago. He was from Buffalo NY. He told me that he bought the car in 1972, from Rose Brothers Dodge ? in Buffalo NY. He then moved to Crystal Beach where he worked at the park for some time.

You should talk with Don Keefe. He's from Rochester, which is not far away from Buffalo, but he seems to know a lot about the Ponchos that roamed around NW NY.
